Our Executive Team
Homer Reeves
Homer Reeves, Principal, brings a wealth of financial management experience and successes to our clients. Homer has 25 years in the corporate environment specializing in turnaround leadership and building enterprise value. His key attributes are a results-driven leader who sets and achieves lofty goals; an analytical problem solver who implements profitable solutions and a trusted advisor who partners with business owners to drive business success. Homer is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, spent the majority of his corporate career in New York City with Knight-Ridder Financial and Thomson Financial, and moved to Greenville in 2001 where he and his wife, Janette, reside.
Kent McKown
Kent McKown, Principal, has over 20 years of leadership and business experience. He is highly sought-after as an advisor for emerging businesses. He has the ability to see opportunities through the complexities of business, to help to create, preserve and monetize wealth. His experience includes years of advising business owners on multitudes of issues. He has started, bought, operated and sold several of his own businesses.
Mr. McKown is a graduate of The Citadel and a former Marine Corps officer. He has leveraged his leadership talents and experience to the business community through his initial involvement in professional consulting and accounting firms. The vast majority of his experience and current assignments have been focusing his service to the owners of emerging businesses.
He has been engaged to serve as interim CEO during successful turnaround and restructuring engagements. He has advised on more that 25 corporate transactions including buy-side, sell-side and non-taxable reorganizations.
Mr. McKown is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified in Mergers & Acquisitions (CM&A) and maintains a securities and real estate broker license. Mr. McKown resides in Greer, South Carolina with his wife and three sons.
